Beosound Stage is Bang and Olufsen’s first stand alone speaker system that integrates with any television.
It creates an immersive cinematic sound experience from a single speaker.
Designed in collaboration with Denmark-based Norm Architects, the speaker features simple geometric shapes and natural materials encased in an elegant from made from aluminium, bronze tome aluminium or smoked oak.
The frame runs all the way around the speaker with a 2mm shadow line between the frame and the fabric speaker, which gives the illusion that the speaker is floating within the frame.
The frame also houses an integrated, engraved sensory control panel.
The speaker has 11 drivers, features Dolby Atmos for 3D sound and comes in five listening modes for TV, movie, music, night listening or none.
It can also be used a music system in its own right when the TV is inactive and is compatible with streaming technologies including Apple Airplay 2 and Bluetooth and has Google Chromecast built in.
Beosound Stage follows Bang and Olufsen’s Beovison Harmony which was launched at Milan Design Week.
An all-in-one TV and speaker system, Beovision Harmony is an elegant design housed in an oak and aluminium frame.
When it is turned off or just playing music, the thin screen rests close to the floor, covered by oak and aluminium doors.
When it is turned on, doors fan out like butterfly wings and screen rises to perfect viewing height.
