2010 AAA Awards: Student Prize for the Advancement of Architecture

The 2010 AILA New South Wales Awards were announced on 9 December 2010.

Epping to Chatswood Rail Link, Intermediate Stations, by Hassell won the Sir Zelman Cowen Award for Public Architecture at the AIA’s 2010 National Architecture Awards.

ANZ Centre by Hassell won the Emil Sodersten Award for Interior Architecture 2010 at the AIA’s 2010 National Architecture Awards.

UNSW Village by Architectus won a National Commendation for Residential Architecture at the AIA’s 2010 National Architecture Awards.

Paddington Reservoir Gardens by Tonkin Zulaikha Greer with JMD Design and the City of Sydney won the National Award for Heritage at the AIA’s 2010 National Architecture Awards.

Port Phillip Estate by Wood / Marsh Architecture won the National Award for Commercial Architecture at the AIA’s 2010 National Architecture Awards.

Pirrama Park, Pyrmont, by Hill Thalis Architecture + Urban Projects / Aspect Studios / CAB won the Walter Burley Griffin Award for Urban Design at the AIA’s 2010 National Architecture Awards.

The Met, Bangkok, Thailand, by WOHA won the Jørn Utzon Award for International Architecture at the AIA’s 2010 National Architecture Awards.

Kesho Leo Children’s Home, Sinon, Tanzania, by Watson Architecture + Design won the Award for International Architecture at the AIA’s 2010 National Architecture Awards.

Bras Basah Mass Rapid Transit Station, Singapore, by WOHA won the Award for International Architecture at the AIA’s 2010 National Architecture Awards.

Aman New Delhi, India, by Kerry Hill Architects won the Commendation for International Architecture at the AIA’s 2010 National Architecture Awards.

Barcaldine Tree of Knowledge Memorial by Brian Hooper Architect and m3architecture, architects in association, won the Lachlan Macquarie Award for Heritage at the AIA’s 2010 National Architecture Awards.

Port Phillip Estate by Wood / Marsh Architecture won the National Award for Interior Architecture at the AIA’s 2010 National Architecture Awards.

Surry Hills Library and Community Centre by Francis-Jones Morehen Thorp won the National Award for Sustainable Architecture at the AIA’s 2010 National Architecture Awards.

5–9 Roslyn Street, Kings Cross by Durbach Block Architects won the Harry Seidler Award for Commercial Architecture at the AIA’s 2010 National Architecture Awards.

Eastlink Freeway by Wood / Marsh Architecture won the National Commendation for Urban Design at the AIA’s 2010 National Architecture Awards.

Adelaide Zoo Entrance Precinct by Hassell won the National Commendation for Urban Design at the AIA’s 2010 National Architecture Awards.

Supreme Court Complex, Hobart, by Department of Public Works / Peter Partridge won the 25 Year Award for Enduring Architecture at the AIA’s 2010 National Architecture Awards.

Lyons Architecture Office by NMBW Architecture Studio won the National Commendation for Sustainable Architecture at the AIA’s 2010 National Architecture Awards.

Former Wests Furniture Showroom by Riddel Architecture won the National Award for Heritage at the AIA’s 2010 National Architecture Awards.

Wall House, Shizuoka, Japan, by Peter Stutchbury Architecture with Keiji Ashizawa Design won the Award for International Architecture at the AIA’s 2010 National Architecture Awards.

Australian Expo Pavilion by Wood / Marsh Architecture won the Colorbond Award for Steel Architecture at the AIA’s 2010 National Architecture Awards.
