While traditional waterproofing methods are perfectly adequate, there is a demand for the security of a shower tray. The tile-over stainless steel shower tray provides this in the form of an impermeable stainless steel barrier below the waterproofing membrane, protecting the buildings’ structure and adjoining rooms or tenancies from moisture damage.

The tile-over stainless steel shower tray is custom-made for each project, providing a bespoke solution. Each tray is fabricated to the exact dimensions and layout of the shower area and accounts for project-specific variables, such as wall board and tile depths, to create a premium solution. It ensures the channel perfectly sits against a wall by customizing the offset.

The tray can be designed with a hob or as a level flush floor entry. The fall in the tray can be set as 1:80 (recommended for hob entry) or 1:50 (recommended for level entry). The fall is achieved by an engineered base pre-applied to the tray, which removes the need for screeding a fall on site.

The tray comes with five grate options, including a tile insert for an almost-invisible, watertight shower and drainage system.
