The work of renowned Japanese architect Tadao Ando is something to be celebrated. His mastery of the use of concrete to create spaces that respond to natural site conditions, particularly the play of natural light, is admirable and inspiring. Including the famous Church of the Light, this complete works features a spectacular array of projects of varying genres. It is no surprise that, as the book notes, he is the only architect to have won all four of the Pritzker, Carlsberg, Praemium Imperiale and Kyoto prizes.
