Architectus: between order and opportunity by Haig Beck and Jackie Cooper

Formed in 2001 by Patrick Clifford in Auckland and Lindsay and Kerry Clare in Sydney, Architectus has a distinctive regionalist approach. This monograph is a comprehensive volume with written contributions by Lawrence Nield, Lindsay Johnson, Tom Heneghan and Bill McKay. Each of the projects is carefully documented, including stunning photography, plans, sections and a short summary. Some of the most progressive work is the early houses designed by the Clares in the1980s, where environmental factors were a very clear focus.
