Twelve diverse built environment practitioners drawn from across the Asia Pacific region will appear at The Architecture Symposium on Friday 16 March 2018 at the State Library of Queensland.
Formerly known as the ArchitectureAP Symposium, the one-day event will bring together the some of the region’s most successful and prolific architects, designers and their clients and collaborators to explore the challenges, philosophies, conflicts and projects that are driving the rapid transformation of architectural practice in the Asian Century.
Australian architects attending the event earn 5 formal CPD points.
The 2018 symposium speakers are:

The keynote speakers reflect the diversity of the cultures, cities and peoples of the Asia Pacific region. Their talks will illustrate the way architects from across the region are negotiating the role that architecture will play in a rapidly changing world.
The Architecture Symposium is part of the two-week Asia Pacific Architecture Forum, which will take place in Brisbane in March 2018. The forum features exhibitions, installations, workshops and lectures. A review of last year’s forum, including of the symposium, can be found here.
