Water Sensitive Urban Design Conference 2012

Many urban communities are now facing rising temperatures, longer and more severe droughts, more frequent and devastating floods and increased levels of waterborne pollutants. This conference will attempt to tackle these issues and show the importance of a water-sensitive community.

Landscape architects were very well represented in the Outdoor category results of the 2011 Houses Awards. The Houses Awards reward excellence in Australian residential design. Projects eligible for the Outdoor category include decks, terraces, patios, courtyards, gardens, roof gardens, backyards, pools, pergolas and cubby houses.
