The first design-specific festival in WA, Fremantle Design Week is a celebration of design in all its forms. The inaugural instalment of this design festival will take over the port city from 14-21 October with an engaging program of design-inspired events, conversations and open-studios – set to inspire, entertain and challenge audiences.
Fremantle Design Week’s event hub will be PS Art Space, hosting Monash University’s XYX Lab’s award-winning HyperSext City exhibition, as well as a series of conversations with the likes of artists, designers, architects, industry leaders and urban planners.
Hear from industry leaders in the Conversation Series at PS Art Space. See exhibits and take part in immersive experiences with designers and artists. Peak behind closed doors at open-studio events and enjoy eclectic films at the FDW Film Festival.
You can also shop, drink, eat and stay at various design-centric retailers and venues across Walyalup (Fremantle).
