The shortlist for the 20th annual Australian Interior Design Awards includes 10 projects in the Installation Design category.
“What is most striking about this category is the ability to transport the occupier,” said juror Rosie Morley. “Installation design is temporary in nature, therefore creating a moment in time that will be memorable for the user is the greatest challenge. There are a few key stand outs in this year’s submissions, with a strong focus on figurative curation and vivid imagination. The desire to be delighted and transported to another world is a clear driver.”
