From 71 entries, 18 have been shortlisted by the jury in the 2024 AA Prize for Unbuilt Work, which seeks conceptually rigorous, inventive responses to contemporary architectural issues. The prize promotes debate and to generate ideas about architecture by rewarding compelling work in its conceptual stages.

The 2024 jury comprised Nigel Bertram (Director, NMBW Architecture Studio), Leah Lang (Queensland Government Architect, Office of the Queensland Government Architect), Jennie Officer (Director, Officer Woods Architects), Peter Tonkin (Director, Tonkin Zulaikha Greer) and Georgia Birks Associate Editor, Architecture Media and jury chair of the 2024 AA Prize for Unbuilt Work).
The winner of the prize will be announced on 18 January 2024 on ArchitectureAU.com and in the January/February issue of Architecture Australia magazine.
