Clare Design was established in 1979 by Kerry and Lindsay Clare. In 1998 the Clares were appointed as design director for the NSW Government architect and from 2000 to 2010 they were founding design directors of Architectus Sydney. In 2010 they received the Australian Institute of Architects Gold Medal.
