The Australian Institute of Architects has revealed the shortlist for the 2023 National Architecture Awards.
More than 70 projects from across all states and territories will be visited by the national jury over the next two weeks.
“These awards showcase the skill and knowledge of our design professionals in creating spaces that have a positive impact on our landscapes and the lives of those who live in and around them,” said jury chair Shannon Battisson.
“These projects represent Australia’s leading architectural thought, with all the attention to sustainability and technical elements that are involved.”
Joining Battisson on the jury are: Shaneen Fantin (director of People Oriented Design), William Smart (creative director and owner of Smart Design Studio), Stephanie Kitingan, director of Placement Studio) and Scott Burchell (director of Comb Construction).
